I am a Ph.D. candidate in the CSE Department at University at Buffalo, where I am advised by Dr. Venu Govindaraju. I am a part of the Center for Unified Biometrics and Sensors (CUBS) Lab, where I also work as a research assistant. My research is funded by the IARPA BRIAR, NSF AI Institute, QualComm, NSF CITeR, NSF DiBBS, and NSF S&CC programs.
I received my Masters (MS) degree from University at Buffalo, and Bachelors degree from SGSITS Indore. I am currently an intern at Netflix Research working on large scale multimodal models. Before this I interned at Yahoo Research as Research Scientist intern where I am mentored by Paloma De Juan and Joao Soares. Previously, I have also worked as a Research Scientist Intern at Adobe Research, where I was fortunate to be mentored by Kushal Kafle, Scott Cohen and Zhe Lin. I was awarded the Best Paper Award at IJCB 2023 , Graduate Leadership Award 2023, Russell Agrusa Research Innovation Award in 2021 and best CSE PhD Poster and SEAS PhD Poster Award in 2022.
